Choctaw Nation to undertake $10M casino expansion

The Choctaw Nation is undertaking a $10 million expansion of its casino in Pocola, Okahoma. The tribe will add 10,000 square-feet to the Choctaw Casino to make way for more gaming machines, more poker tables, a larger off-track-betting area, two new restaurants and other amenities. The expansion is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2007. The casino underwent a $15.4 million that opened in January 2005. Pocola is a few miles from the Arkansas border.
