The Poarch Band of Creek Indians began serving liquor at its casino in Atmore, Alabama.
The tribe secured an alcohol license and a beer and wine license from the state of Alabama.
A notice of federal approval was published in the Federal Register on February 24.
The Creek Entertainment Center started serving alcohol on Friday. Gaming CEO Arthur Mothershed said the tribe is responding to customers' requests.
