The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and new partner MGM Mirage are laying the groundwork for a new resort in Connecticut.
The tribe has requested a zoning change for land it owns in the town of Ledyard. Documents filed with the state cite plans for a "destination resort," The New London Day reports.
The tribe and MGM signed a deal to bring the MGM name to a new casino on the reservation. The tribe and MGM are also planning ventures across the country.
