The Osage Nation of Oklahoma spent $1 million on a financial audit of the tribe's gaming funds, Chief Jim Gray said.
The second audit was conducted after the first one mentioned missing information. Gray said some accounting documents were found in a warehouse.
The audit was costly because accounting firm Finley and Cook had to reconstruct all the financial activity at the tribe's casinos, Gray said. He said no wrongdoing was found.
