Plans by the Enterprise Rancheria to buy a 63-acre property in Butte County, California, have residents fearing a new casino.
The tribe wants to use a federal housing grant to buy the land and build homes for elders. But locals say the tribe could eventually try to use the land for a casino.
The tribe sought support for a casino in Yuba County but residents opposed it. The tribe currently has 40 acres in Butte County.
