The Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake is scheduled to discuss its proposed casino with officials in Lake County, California.
The tribe and the county reached a memorandum of understanding to address impacts of the proposed casino and hotel along Highway 20.
As part of the agreement, the tribe will share revenues from the casino.
The tribe hasn't started work on the facility. It's not clear from the article whether the land is already in trust or if the tribe has submitted an application.
