A smoking ban on the U.S. and Canadian sides of Niagara Falls has the Seneca Nation hopeful that it will attract more smokers to its casino.
The state of New York imposed a ban on smoking in public places in July 2003. Canada's ban went into affect last month.
Seneca executives say it's too early to tell the effect of the ban. But they are closely watching because smokers account for a good percentage of casino visitors, according to a University at Buffalo study.
