"The commission is looking forward to hearing from the tribes regarding these very important standards," said Chairman Phil Hogen yesterday. The first rule seeks to draw a "clear line" between electronic Class II games and Class III games like slot machines. The second rule revises the definition of "electronic or electromechanical facsimile" to prohibit the use of facsimiles to Class II machines without a tribal-state Class III compact.
