The Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians released an economic impact study of the tribe's proposed off-reservation casino.
The study says the casino in Grand Forks would create 446 jobs with wages of $10.5 million a year. It cites an impact of 1.1 million tourists a year and revenues of $18 million a year for local governments.
The tribe needs state and federal approval to open the casino. Other tribes in the state oppose the proposal.
