Oklahoma is home to 83 tribal casinos, the largest number of any state in the country.
Five years ago, the state only had 25 gaming facilities, the Associated Press reported. Now, nearly every one of the 38 federally recognized tribes is engaged in gaming.
Of the Oklahoma tribes, the Chickasaw Nation owns the most gaming facilities.
