A Michigan man has been arrested and charged with larceny for cashing out $20 from a slot machine at the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe's casino.
Paul Timko is accused of using slot machine credits at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort that didn't belong to him. But he says an elderly couple left behind the machine for 45 minutes.
The tribe decided to bring charges after the couple filed a police report. A spokesperson for the National Indian Gaming Commission said this appears to be the first case of its kind.
