House Resources Committee hearing on IGRA bill

The House Resources Committee is holding a hearing this Wednesday on H.R.4893, a bill to amend the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act.
The bill rewrites Section 20 of IGRA in order to make it harder to open casinos on off-reservation sites. It was introduced by Rep. Richard Pombo (R-California), the chairman of the committee.
The hearing takes place at 2pm in Room 1324 of the Longworth House Office Building. A witness list is not yet available.
