The Seneca Nation of New York doesn't plan on buying any more land in Buffalo, President Barry E. Snyder Sr. said.
The tribe has finished acquiring all the land it needs for the casino in Buffalo, Snyder said in a statement. He also told Rep. Brian Higgins (D-New York), who has questioned the tribe's land purchases, that the tribe won't be buying land in the city "for anything"
The tribe is opening its second off-reservation casino in Buffalo. A lawsuit aimed at keeping a potential site in a Buffalo suburb on the table was dismissed by New York's highest court earlier this week.
