California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) plans to return a $50,000 donation from an investor in a tribal casino project.
Yuba County Entertainment LLC gave the money to Schwarzenegger during a recent fundraiser.
The company is backing the Enterprise Rancheria's proposed casino in Yuba County.
Schwarzenegger said during his campaign that he would not take tribal gaming money because he negotiates with tribes. The tribe needs to negotiate a compact with the state before opening the casino.
