The Sycuan Band of Kumeyaay Indians donated $5.47 million to San Diego State University to create a tribal gaming institute.
The Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation Institute on Tribal Gaming will be a think tank, research institute and training center. About 20 students are expected to graduate from the program each year.
