The Morongo Band of Mission Indians threw a party in New York City to give the East Coast travel industry a preview of the tribe's new casino.
The $250 million resort is set to open in November. The tribe recreated the feel of the resort, offering food, services and some table game demonstrations to attendees.
The tribe is said to be the first to undertake such an event, designed to influence the New York City-based travel and vacation media.
