Jack Abramoff isn't in jail yet but when he is sentenced, he will be imprisoned at a medium security facility in Cumberland, Maryland, TPM Muckracker reports.
"Mr. Abramoffs incarceration there will facilitate the governments access to him and, therefore, the ongoing investigation," Department of Justice attorneys wrote in a motion granted by U.S. District Judge Paul C. Huck.
Huck is handling Abramoff's bank fraud case in Florida and will impose a sentence in that case. A different judge is handling Abramoff's conspiracy and corruption case in Washington, D.C.
