Lumbee Tribe delays hearing on Supreme Court seats

The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina still doesn't have a fully-seated Supreme Court, more than four years after the court's creation.

The court has five positions but right now there are three vacancies. Chairman Jimmy Goins has acted to fill two of those vacancies.

The tribal council said it will wait to hold confirmation hearings for Goins' nominees until after the November 14 election. Goins will be up for re-election.
