Rosebud Sioux Tribe unofficial election results


Members of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe of South Dakota ousted incumbent President Charlie Colombe, the Associated Press reports.

Colombe was defeated by Rodney Bordeaux, according to unofficial results.

For vice president, Louis Wayne Boyd Sr. defeated Webster Two Hawk Sr.

Also up for grabs are 20 council representatives.

Tribal election workers were busy hand-counting the ballots that were cast yesterday.
