The Miccosukee Tribe is still fighting the state of Florida on the $8.4 billion cleanup of the Everglades despite winning numerous court rulings.
The tribe is asking a federal judge to find that the state is continuing to pollute the Everglades. A ruling is expected by the end of the month.
State officials claim they are making progress but acknowledge that they exceed pollution levels in the Everglades, the tribe's traditional homeland.
