The Miccosukee Tribe of Florida filed a lawsuit in federal court on Thursday challenging the state's new Everglades cleanup law.
The tribe filed the suit after losing a case in a state administrative court. The tribe contends the law, which delays the cleanup schedule, is inconsistent with federal law.
The tribe wants the Environmental Protection Agency to reject the state law.
