Researchers at Mississippi State University conducted a survey about the new casino being built by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw
Indians.
Most people have a negative reaction to the casino. They are worried about traffic, tourism, employment and the nature of the Class II facility, according to the survey.
The new facility will be located near Sandersville.
The site is about 80 miles from main tribal headquarters in Philadelphia,
where the tribe operates two casinos.
