Remembering Clyde Bellecourt
Clyde Bellecourt is among the handful of true giants of the American Indian Movement. He devoted his life to challenging injustices and building a more equitable world for Native Americans.
From his early years patrolling the streets of Minneapolis to curb police brutality against Native residents, to his work helping establish job, education and health centers, Bellecourt formed a foundation that all Native people can now stand on.
