Update: Room change for the April 1 meeting with the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes.
Elouise Cobell and the attorneys and experts in the Indian trust fund lawsuit have been busy meeting with individual Indian account holders over the last few weeks and more meetings have been scheduled.
So far, Cobell and her team have been to South Dakota, Arizona, Nebraska and New Mexico. Cobell is currently in Montana to visit four reservations there.
Next week, Cobell heads to Washington and Oregon to meet with individual Indians. New meetings have been scheduled in Idaho, on the Nez Perce Reservation and on the Shoshone-Bannock Reservation.
On Monday, March 29, Geoffrey Rempel and Alex Pearl, who are part of the litigation team, will be at the Clearwater River Casino and Resort Events Center, 17500 Nez Perce Road, from 9am to 12pm.
On Thursday, April 1, the pair will be at the Fort
Hall in the Dome Room in the Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Complex from 2pm to 5pm.
