Two meetings have been scheduled in Wyoming to discuss the $3.4 billion settlement in the Indian trust fund
lawsuit.
Geoffrey Rempel and Alex Pearl, members of the litigation team, will be meet with the Northern Arapaho Tribe on Wednesday, March 31. They will be at the Great Plains Hall, 15 Great Plains Road in Arapahoe from 12pm to 4pm.
Later in the day, Rempel and Pearl will meet with the Eastern Shoshone Tribe at Rocky Mountain Hall, 25 North Fork Road in Lander from 5pm. to 8 pm.
Cobell and her team are holding meetings throughout Indian Country to inform beneficiaries about the settlement, which requires Congressional approval.
