The Soboba Band of Luiseno
Indians hosts its 12th annual powwow this weekend.
Thousands are expected for the three-day event, which kicks off today. More than 600 dancers and drummers will participate and compete for prizes. Traditional bird singers also plan to perform.
The powwow takes place in the arena at the Soboba Casino.
