New headstone unveiled for Woody Keeble
The Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate hosted a ceremony on Saturday to unveil a new headstone for the late Woodrow Wilson Keeble. The headstone reflects the Medal of Honor that was recently bestowed upon Keeble, who died in 1982. The award recognizes his heroic actions in the Korean War. Keeble also served in World War II and earned numerous military awards. His family was recently presented the Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Award, North Dakota’s highest honor. Get the Story:
