Ontario's new Aboriginal affairs minister said on Wednesday he'd make land claims a top priority.
Michael Bryant plans to visit a Mohawk protest site in Caledonia. Members of the Six Nations have occupied a housing site since February 2006 in hopes of resolving a land claim.
Bryant also said he would implement the recommendations of the Ipperwash Inquiry.
Dudley George, a Native protester, was killed by Ontario Park Police during an occupation that was related to an unresolved land claim. Bryant met with George's brother to discuss the inquiry.
