Native protesters from the Six Nations Reserve in Ontario continued their occupation of a construction site on land they say was stolen from them 200 years ago.
The protesters have occupied the site near Caledonia since February 28. They want to stop a housing development or impose a moratorium until the land issue is settled.
The protesters feared police action after a judge last week ordered them to leave by 2pm yesterday. But the Ontario Provincial Police said no arrests were planned.
