Non-Natives march at protest site in Canada

An estimated 500 non-Natives held a rally on Sunday to protest the Native occupation in Caledonia, Ontario. Computer programmer Gary McHale organized the "Caledonia Wake-Up Call." He predicted 20,000 non-Natives would show up but local reports put the number of attendees much lower. McHale originally planned to march directly to the housing development that has been occupied by Native protesters since February 28. He changed the route but some of the followers went there anyway, to be met by Ontario Provincial Police officers, who arrested a few people. Native protesters, mostly from the Six Nations Reserve, say the site they are occupying was stolen from their people. Get the Story:
