The House Natural Resources Committee will hold a field hearing on June 1 to discuss law enforcement in Indian Country.
The hearing will take place on the Lower Brule Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-South Dakota), a member of the committee, will host.
The committee will hear from three panels who will discuss violence against women, detention facilities and other law enforcement issues.
