The National Museum of the American Indian is holding its third National Powwow this weekend in Washington, D.C.
The powwow starts Friday and runs through Sunday. It is being held at the Verizon Center in downtown Washington, where more than $125,000 in prizes will be awarded.
Wayne Silas Jr., a member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, is headed to the event. He's serving as head judge for Northern drum and singing.
