The Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians has closed escrow on the purchase of a hotel in Solvang, California.
The tribe did not disclose the purchase price of the Royal Scandinavian Inn.
The three-story, 133-room hotel is the largest in Solvang.
The tribe plans to renovate the facility, which includes a restaurant and bar, to give it an entirely new look. There are no plans to have the site placed in trust.
