Police in Regina, Saskatchewan, scaled back the investigation into Tamra Keepness, a five-year-old Native girl who has been missing since July 2004.
Regina Police Chief Cal Johnston had appointed a five-member task force that looked into more than 1,500 tips and offered a $25,000 reward. But with no new information coming in, the task force is down to two people.
Keepness disappeared from her home in an predominantly Native neighborhood in Regina. Some of her family members were investigated.
