Search continues for five-year-old Native girl
Monday, October 25, 2004

Police in Regina, Saskatchewan, say they are continuing to search for Tamra Keepness, a five-year-old Native girl who has been missing since July.

The investigation is the largest in the history of the Regina police, said an inspector. Police have formally interviewed 478 people and spoken to thousands, the inspector said.

Tamra was last seen at her family's home the night of July 5. Police initially focused on the family but have not been able to make any strong connections. Family members say the police ignored potential leads and suspects.
