A judge in Texas was indicted on Thursday for failing to report the source of $15,000 that came from the Kickapoo Tribe.

Amado Abascal III, a state district judge, said the money came from 15 people. But authorities said it came from Isidro Garza Jr., the former manager of the tribe's casino.

Abascal, 51, is the ninth person charged in a Kickapoo corruption scandal. Isidro Garza, former state Rep. Timoteo Garza of Eagle Pass, his father Isidro Garza Jr. and former Kickapoo chairman Raul Garza are among those indicted. Raul Garza is not related to the other Garzas.
