Arizonans for Piestewa will hold a ceremony and memorial on Wednesday in honor of Lori Piestewa, the Hopi woman killed in action in Iraq, and Native veterans.

Piestewa's family, her friend Jessica Lynch and others are expected at the sunrise ceremony at Piestewa Peak and the evening memorial at Patriots Square Park in Phoenix. The events come on the two-year anniversary of the attack on Piestewa's unit in Iraq.

Also this week, Lynch will make her first trip to the Hopi and Navajo reservations. A public ceremony will be held in Tuba City, Arizona, on the Navajo Nation on Thursday.
