Tribal donations used to rebuild homes lost to fire

Donations from two California tribes are being used to rebuild homes on the San Pasqual Reservation that were lost to last year's deadly fires.

The Morongo and San Manuel tribes donated $2 million to Habitat for Humanity. With the help of 100 sailor volunteers, work began to rebuild 20 homes this week.

The San Pasqual Reservation was the hardest hit last October. Nearly every acre was burned and the tribe lost 70 homes.
