Raid on Shinnecock Reservation nets drugs, weapons

The state of New York conducted an early morning raid on the Shinnecock Reservation, arresting more than 30 people and seizing drugs and weapons.

The raid started around 5am and lasted several hours, Newsday reported. No further details were reported by the state and Suffolk County.

The reservation is on Long Island. The tribe is recognized by the state and operates with some autonomy.
