Rep. Heather Wilson (R-New Mexico) declared victory after winning the election by just 875 votes.
Wilson was in a close race with Democrat Patricia Madrid, the state attorney general. But Madrid conceded because she said a recount would be too costly and might not change the results.
The 1st Congressional District is home to a handful of tribes in the Albuquerque area.
