The Blackfeet Community College [Web Site] won't accept money from Sen. Conrad Burns (R-Montana) because it came from Jack Abramoff. But other tribal colleges are taking Abramoff-connected money.

James St. Goddard, a Blackfeet council member, told The Great Falls Tribune that taking the money "would have made it look like the money is clean. We do not want Mr. Burns to use the tribes any more for his political gain."

Sen. Max Baucus (D-Montana) is donating about $19,000 in Abramoff-related cash to Montana's tribal colleges. Officials at Salish Kootenai College and Fort Peck Community College said they will accept the Burns and Baucus money.
