Pala Band to receive Anti-Defamation award


The Pala Band of Mission Indians in California will be the first tribe in the nation to receive the Anti-Defamation League's American Heritage Award.

The tribe is being recognized for its work with other tribes, local governments and civic groups.

The award will be presented on November 6 at the Pala casino.
