Ousted members of wealthy California tribes are holding a rally at the state capitol in Sacramento on Friday.

The rally calls attention to the removal of hundreds of people from the rolls of several tribes. According to activists, upwards of 2,000 California Indians face disenrollment or have already been ousted.

For more information, visit http://www.pechanga.info, a website run by former members of the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians. A group of ousted members are trying to use the state court system and Public Law 280 to regain entry into the tribe.
