The Redding Rancheria of California will hold a meeting today to consider the disenrollment of up to 67 members of an extended family, The Redding Record-Searchlight reports.
Earlier this month, the tribe upheld the ouster of nine members of the Foreman family. Their relatives now face expulsion.
Members of the family hope to present additional evidence for their claim of tribal membership.
They have conducted DNA tests as part of their quest to show descent from an original enrollee.
