Calif. tribe ousts members of family
Wednesday, October 1, 2003

Nine members of a family from the Redding Rancheria in California have been expelled because they couldn't document their ancestry, the tribal council says.

Other members of the Foreman family say they are next. If all 76 are disenrolled, the per capita payments to the remaining tribal members will go up by $1,000 to $4,000.
