The Winnebago Tribe will appear before another public hearing in Woodbury County, Iowa, to explain its casino plan.
The tribe is adding a hotel and expanding a parking lot at the WinnaVegas. The hotel will be on trust land but the parking lot will be within county limits.
The tribe requested a zoning change for the parking lot. An August 26 hearing will address costs of law enforcement, fire and rescue, and emergency services.
