The Winnebago Tribe of
Nebraska is moving forward with plans for a hotel at its casino in Iowa.
The tribe plans a 78-room hotel at WinnaVegas, a Class III facility. The project will include the expansion of the parking lot at the casino.
The casino is on trust land and the hotel will be on trust land. But the parking lot addition will be on land within Woodbury County limits, so the tribe is seeking a zoning change for the project.
The tribe plans to spend $3 million on the project.
