Florida Governor Jeb Bush (R) is expected to sign into law a bill that delays cleanup of the Everglades amid criticism that it puts the $8 billion project in jeopardy.

The Miccosukee Tribe opposes the bill, which changes deadlines for the massive effort. The tribe and other parties in an Everglades lawsuit are headed to court today for an emergency hearing.

The federal government's $4 billion contribution to the cleanup could be revoked, say critics and some members of Congress.
