The U.S. House of Representatives considers H.R.2916, a bill to ratify the Akwesasne Mohawk Land Claim, on December 9, 2025.

The bill ratifies a land claim settlement between the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe and the state of New York. The agreement requires the return of about 3,500 acres of stolen land to the tribe.

Following consideration, the bill was approved under a suspension of the rules.
