Tribes join the fight against fatal deer disease
Chronic wasting disease is a fatal neurological disorder that affects deer, elk, and other big game animals.
It has growing implications for wildlife and the people across the country who manage them. In Minnesota, tribes are teaming up with wildlife officials and researchers in a unique collaboration aimed at reducing the spread of the disease on and near tribal lands.
